QUESTION #2: Can you define the age categories that constitute the baby boomer generation, the builder generation, the buster generation, and the Millennial generation?

Answer:

George Barna:
“…When we talk about baby boomers, let’s take the two older generations I’m talking about today. Baby boomers currently are between the ages of 53 and 71. People born between 1956, 1964. Builders, their parents’ generation, those are individuals who are between the ages of 72 and 90. If you look at those two generations together, in other words people in their 50’s and older essentially, what we know is combined 16% of those generations have a biblical world view.
Then if you look at the baby bust generation, sometimes referred to as Gen X, that’s a group that was born from 1965 to 1983. Currently they’re between the ages of 34 and 52. So essentially, we’re talking about a group that’s in their 30’s and 40’s. That particular generation, only 7% have a biblical world view. See where the boomers dropped the ball as parents. And then when we look at the Millennials, our youngest adult generation currently between the ages of 18 and 33, again those in their late teens and 20’s just entering their 30’s, the largest generation in America’s history and the lowest (biblical) worldview of any generation we’ve ever recorded at just 4%.”
