Sam Rohrer: Hello and welcome to this Monday edition of Stand In the Gap Today, that this last day of September, 2024. Wow. What a year, what a month, what a weekend. I don’t know about you listening to me right now, but never have I personally since a more unbelievable weekend of life and life changing events that we’ve all witnessed more than this past weekend, post hurricane in particular, and never have I sensed a more incredible converging of global events like a boiling volcano, bringing the threat of World War ever closer and yet never have I sensed the hand of God at work, the display of his power in his presence more greatly. The more I witness the movement of biblical prophecy, as I look back and look around to what is unfolding even this week, coming right ahead of us. We’ll talk about some of that today and likely unfold into the weeks ahead.
Sam Rohrer: The more I am asking for wisdom to trust the Lord and not to fear, which is exactly what we are told to do now, how we interpret what is occurring and what will unfold is absolutely essential, particularly for those of us who believe in the word of God. And it’s my prayer that today as JR McGee joins me again, that we can consider some of the most, we can’t touch them all, but the most significant events which dominate the headlines here today. Not only from an objective perspective, but more importantly through the lens of a true biblical worldview. The result of that allows us to look at things that are happening and draw us to the Lord in hope not to the world as our hope and with confidence. We know if that happens to God’s unfolding plan rather than in fear looking to some hollow promise for some politician or some emerging global leader. Now, the title I’ve chosen to frame our conversation today is this, when converging events beyond our control unfold, and again, my returning guest and friends is JR McGee. He leads the Extreme Leadership Group. He’s the founder of that, been in strategic leadership and counter-terrorism for a long time. Also a student of biblical prophecy. And glad that JR, you are able to join me today. So let’s get into this, but glad you’re here.
JR McGee: Thank you, Sam.
Sam Rohrer: Jr. If you’re like me, you have friends and family who’ve been impacted by the effects of Hurricane Helene all the way from Florida to South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. And particularly, those are the most difficult hard hits areas, but in all my life I’ve never seen such physical devastation in some cases that is not repairable regardless of how much money is spent because the literal real estate under houses and towns and roads, it’s gone. It’s completely washed away and the implications of this devastation is so historic. Let’s talk about it here in this first segment and I want to make sure that we give brief comments because we want to close in prayer because if there ever a time that prayer to God is needed, it is now. So let me just ask you first here, Jr. When you look at all that’s happened right here in America, before we go overseas, globally, particularly this hurricane event, which we call a natural disaster, what would your personal overall takeaway or couple of takeaways be?
JR McGee: Well, Sam, I have family in the northwest Florida panhandle. I have family in Alabama. I have family and friends in Georgia and this has hit home very close and very personal. We always have weather from the brilliant spring days that are beautiful to raging storms and it is weather, it’s always been with us, it always will be with us. But when things like this happen, we need to pull together as a nation regardless of race, color, creed, national origin or political beliefs, we need to reach out and help each other through this because this is devastating. This has affected people’s lives beyond anything people can imagine, and I think that this is who America truly is. It’s people who help each other in adversity. Adversity brings people together. It’ll either break people or cause people to break records and now’s the time for us to break records in helping each other through this
Sam Rohrer: Jr. I think that’s a great takeaway. Ladies and gentlemen, let me just offer a couple of mine in addition to what JR has said, more of an objective evaluations and then a couple of thoughts and then I will close in prayer, but these are some of what people are saying and my observation is one, what we have witnessed is truly historic. The estimated cost, physical cost, dollar cost is right now between a hundred and 125 billion, making it the most expensive and costly event in our nation’s history, power and utilities. Just talk to some today, like folks even down in South Carolina where it’s not as severe at all as it is in North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. It may be Friday night before they ever get their power back. That’s a physical cost, but you know the human cost, you can’t put a number on it. While the official loss of life is still hovering around 70 or so last night, I heard comments and evaluations that in that North Carolina area in the mountain area, that right now as of last night, there are still 13,000 people who are missing.
Sam Rohrer: That means the death toll is going to grow. There are areas that they can’t even get to yet they don’t even know For some in Florida, I noted that just as they had just completed repairs from the last hurricane a year ago, their house now is in worse shape than it was then and the rebuilding process has to start all over. Implications. Many people have no hope of restoration as the ground literally under their home is gone. Insurance companies, this expense will make them potentially financially go out of business. Transportation, normal activities of life will be stopped as roads are washed out. So where is God in this picture? God is present. He calls it to rain on the just and the unjust. We can’t go further into that. I need to pray, but we do need to look to God heavenly Father Lord, as we look at events that are happening around the world and right here in our own nation.
Sam Rohrer: Lord, I just repent for our nation that there’s not more commentary of people looking to you. There’s more finger pointing and blaming of things on one or another than to look to you and say, Lord, help us in these times of need as a nation. Lord, we repent of our great and many sins. We lift our fists nationally to you and then we expect you to smile. Lord, I pray for all those that are affected in the areas just from the hurricane. Many lost their lives and families have to deal with that. Many homes will never ever be restored, Lord, life will never go back to normal. For many we pray in these days that those who know you will hold onto you will reflect you to those that are around them. And we pray that even out of these disastrous days that you would get the glory and that people would come to you in faith.
Sam Rohrer: We pray for these things. In Jesus’ name, amen. Ladies and gentlemen, Steve with us, we’ll be back as we walk through next segment, economic events and then we will take a trip around the world. Well, if you’re just joining us today, JR McGee, regular and recurring guest on this program and I are together today. Our theme that I’ve chosen to frame our discussion and conversation today is this, when converging events beyond our control unfold and certainly we are seeing things happen around the world, we just commented on the impacts of the hurricane, which has just disturbed so many families and businesses and just everything. And for so many there will be no normalcy for weeks or months and years and for some never because the ground under the home is disappeared. These things are happening. These are weather events, we can spend a lot more time on them because weather events like the flooding and so forth, I don’t know whether you know that or not, but has been happening all around America.
Sam Rohrer: If you can Google things, look at what’s happening in China, see what’s happened of the same magnitude as we’ve seen down here in the south across Europe and Australia and New Zealand. It’s a bigger thing even than what we see, but worse than drought and heat and fires and other damage. Since trees can regrow and plants can grow once they get water and houses can be rebuilt when the ground under the house is still there. One of the impacts of such weather events is the economic impact. Yet there are other significant economic impacts as well unfolding that bear noting. And we’re going to talk about a couple of those in this segment. JRR tomorrow or actually midnight tonight, a decision will be made will occur while it’s the potential for crippling our already weakened economy and threatening our financial system, and that is the looming longshoreman strike that would shut down all shipping, loading and unloading, importing and exporting for the entire east coast and through the Gulf and into Texas and incredible potential. Share what you’d like to about the implications of this strike if it occurs and your thoughts about that.
JR McGee: Sam, I don’t want to be alarmist, but this has the potential to be of even greater harm to our country than the hurricane we just went through. This has been estimated to potentially cause our country 5 billion in losses every day. This could shut down all transportation of goods and services into the eastern half of the United States. Think of it this way, if this strike looms and it occurs and it lasts for any period of time, it could clear the shelves of our grocery stores. It could empty our pharmacies. Not to put too fine a point on it, but it would critically impact Amazon’s ability to deliver the things that we take for granted to our homes. It would shut down our economy very quickly. This would be catastrophic. In fact, I view this as a strategic national event that is of utmost criticality. We should be paying very close attention to this. The thing that concerns me is the longshoremen are demanding the total elimination of all technology in our ports and our handling of goods and services. If that’s accepted, that would set us back years and make us uncompetitive with the rest of the world.
JR McGee: It would cripple our transportation network in ways that we just can’t even calculate. I can’t believe that they’re doing that and it can’t be a coincidence, Sam?
Sam Rohrer: No, I don’t think so either. JR and there’s two other things I’ll add to what you said is they’re also asking for a 75% increase. So it’s basically an effective doubling of what they’re being paid plus, as you say, going backwards in terms of technology. They want no automation and all of that, which is like an impossible circumstance. But I think there’s another thing from a political perspective because in any such time before the president has been able to step in with what’s called the Taft Hartley Act and require an 80 day cooling period basically making it unlawful for an entity like that to go on strike. Well, Joe Biden yesterday said he was not going to invoke that. He’s never liked the Taft Hartley Act and even I don’t like that either. However, he said this is collective bargaining and this has to work its course telling me at least I interpreted it, that he basically is on board knowledgeable of what the impact is. But to me it was almost like, so I think there’s something strategic connected with that as well. Any additional thoughts on that?
JR McGee: Yeah, I think he actually also said he stands with the unions, so our president should represent all Americans and he’s clearly putting his thumb on one side of the scale for this negotiation. An arbitrator has to be neutral and I don’t see that neutrality in all this and that concerns me. I believe people who work should get paid a fair wage, no if ands and buts about it. I also believe that the nation deserves a fair shake and at some point it can’t just be about one side. It’s got to be what’s good for all of us. And I don’t think that there are enough people looking at the big picture. They’re just looking at what’s in it for them and for the moment. And this could cripple our economy, which is already hanging by a thread, Sam.
Sam Rohrer: Yeah, it is. And in addition to that, and I want to move on to see what else you’re thinking about in the economic impact area, is the fact that already over the weekend there were companies like Costco as an example that were basically saying, alright, these are some things that will happen. These are some items that are not going to be on our shelves. You’re not going to be able to order the physicians and some of those that were on Saturday were calling out and saying this will impact if it occurs and it looks like it’s going to, but if it occurs, it’ll impact the delivery of pharmaceuticals and medicines that many people depend upon and said, if you can, you’d better get some extra right now because it may impact that. So the point being it is something that could touch everybody significantly and frankly very quickly. Other economic factors we’ve touched on obviously the rebuilding process is going to tax the supply of inventory of everything that is a part of building and rebuilding all of that, so that’s all going to be impacted, but what are some other items that you have noticed and seen in the news economically that ought to be laid on the table right now?
JR McGee: One of the things you’ve got to look at is you mentioned it, is that the rebuilding process when hurricanes already going to stretch our supply chain and this port strike would devastate our supply chain, those hit at the same time. That would be almost unrecoverable compound that with the fact that our current government is still borrowing $1 trillion every 100 days a trillion dollars, that debt is growing, it’s in the $30 trillion range above $30 trillion. We can’t pay that back. We’re spending ourselves into bankruptcy at a rate that is almost unrecoverable. We’re at that tipping point. We can’t go down that road much further. I believe that was going to result in a dollar reset. They’re going to either revalue the dollar or they’re going to move away from the dollar and they’re going to use this economic crisis as justification to do that. If that happens, that would be catastrophic.
JR McGee: The bricks, which is the consortium of states that are moving to try to replace the United States as the reserve currency and also as the dominant trade partner, they’re meeting in about six weeks and there’s going to be almost 40 nations there that are looking at how do they realign, how do they take control, how do they overwhelm the United States to no longer be the leader? They want to be the leader that’s going to have a major impact. Now you’ve got the elections that are coming up. It’s generating tremendous amounts of instability and people are already on both sides talking about what’s going to happen if their side loses. This is being set up to generate an enormous amount of division and strife in our country and the continuing resolutions that Congress is passing, they’re not passing a budget, they’re not even trying to pass a budget, they’re not trying to manage our money, they’re not trying to manage the economy. They’re not just kicking the can down the road. They’re kicking the can over the cliff. Sam, this is a very serious situation and it’s all coming to a head. I don’t think it’s coincidental that all of these things are aligning at this moment in time. I could keep going with some additional things. The Middle East Russia, we’re going to talk about all those, but there is an enormous amount of activity going on in the world right now that’s leading to one point and that is ultimately chaos.
Sam Rohrer: JR add to what you said, ladies and gentlemen, we’ve talked about this, but I’ll just connect another now on a global scale. It was just a week ago, right? The United Nations passed their pact for the future, which consolidated to themselves ability to now declare world emergencies, which could come from any source that they would say and the nations of the world because only seven nations did not vote in favor of that transfer of sovereignty the United States did. There were only seven nations and one of them, believe it or not, was Russia. One was Iran, one was Venezuela and one was North Korea. You say, wow, isn’t that an amazing thing? But everybody else was on board and that will factor into because of the pact for the future, a reset of world finances is a part of what they said, a digital ID for the world was a part of what they are doing.
Sam Rohrer: These pieces are pieces point being converging of which we see a part but the entire world is a part of. And so we just put out economic events. Now when we come back, we’re going to look to those other things that again, coming to the forefront this past weekend, those things, I’m going to say regard wars and rumors of wars. Now again, all of these things, God has said, what happened? We’re trying to look at them objectively and through the lens of biblical prophecy. Well, we’re talking today about when converging events beyond our control begin to unfold and we’re just taking a snapshot of all that happened over this last weekend as an example, and what is lying out before us that we know of this week and meant we don’t know of, but we are to do this. We started here with events, weather events just commented on that because what we saw with the hurricane down south and unfolding, the results of that is one such event, but there are so many more weather events, but that is one and weather events like that do an impact.
Sam Rohrer: Economic events, and we talked about that briefly in the last segment and so many things factoring into that, but there are things such as we’ve been hearing and growing tired of in some respects I have, is that there are wars in rumors of wars and those are devastating effects that take lives and change lives and they always have an economic impact as well. It’s amazing, isn’t it? Over the weekend, the drums of war have beaten with an intensity not seen for generations. Trigger points and we’re going to talk about them just briefly. Trigger points are in the Middle East with Israel and its neighbors in Eastern Europe with Ukraine and Russia, and then over the weekend arising anew the far east with China and Taiwan. We want to touch on three of those briefly, Jr an impossible circumstance, but you’re just going to be able to give the highlights kind of your perspective and then what may unfold. But let’s start in the Middle East Israel, we watch Israel carefully. It’s at the heart of the prophecy that God lays out. It’s a trigger point that tells us we are at a certain point, but the latest with Israel, Hezbollah and the likelihood of an expanding conflict there. Your thoughts please.
JR McGee: I’ve been out of country for the past week up until last night, Sam, and this has been an extraordinary week and an unbelievable weekend. I would say the lion of Judah is roaring. And here’s something to think about. The Feast of Trumpets is on the 3rd of October. We’ve talked about this on previous shows and I’m sure other guests have as well. This is an auspicious date in a land that pays inordinate attention to dates. You’ve had pagers and walkie talkies and electronic systems blowing up. Netanyahu gave an amazing speech at the UN and literally told the world they’ve had enough and they’re no longer going to take orders from anybody else. They’re going to do what they need to do, check their people finally. And as of this morning, they’re beginning to position tanks on the border with Lebanon and on the border with Syria. They’re going to go in on the ground invasion.
JR McGee: It’s just a matter of time. And I don’t think much time over the weekend they eliminated, say Hassan Raah, the head of Hezbollah Raah thought for certain he was untouchable because of his position that no one would ever hit him. Well, they killed him and 20 of his deputies. In addition to that, there was an Iranian Republican guards, brigadier general, a Boston Nilla Han, he’s Deputy, deputy for all IRG operations for Iran. He was assassinated in that rated as well. In just the last few weeks, virtually all of Hezbollah’s top and middle management leadership’s been eliminated. Almost all of Hamas’ top leadership and middle management’s been eliminated. 23 out of 24 battalions and Hamas had been totally destroyed. The last battalion has been severely crippled. And Yaya Swar, who is the head of Hamas in Gaza, has changed his tactics, especially after this weekend. He’s no longer moving around. He’s stationary. We know exactly where he is at, but he surrounded himself with all of the living hostages for protection. And because of that, there’s no way any hostage deal is going to be possible. No matter who gives up who or what. He’s not going to let those people go because then he knows the moment he does, Israel will kill him. There’s not going to be a hostage swap until this is resolved. And I think anybody who believes that there will be is pretty delusional.
JR McGee: Now, just this morning, Sharif Obu Amin, who was one of the top commanders for Hamas in Lebanon, was killed in an airstrike. He was the commander and the recruiter for Hamas in Lebanon and the direct liaison with Hezbollah for weapons and money and supplies and things. He was taken out. Hamas has lost almost everybody except Yaya Swe and I’m sorry, Yasir and Hezbollah has lost the majority of its leadership and infrastructure. They’re going to go after the tunnels, they’re going to go after the launchers, the depots. They’re hiding missiles and rockets inside people’s homes. Israel has made it clear, if you put them there, you’ve sacrificed your home. Get out now. And the people who have listened, a couple million people have already left their homes. It’s time somebody left their homes besides the Israelis. Now I got one more point to make. In October 7th when Hamas started all this with an unprovoked attack in invasion into Israel, killing, murdering and raping 1200 Israelis and wounding thousands of others, nobody was calling for a ceasefire.
JR McGee: When Hamas and Hezbollah started ranching rockets into homes and villages unprotected in Israel to kill women and children directly, that was their targets. Nobody was claiming calling for a ceasefire. The moment Israel starts defending themselves, now people want to say ceasefire, I can’t believe I’ve watched my country go from nine 11 when we declared we would never forget and we would never forgive. From that moment till now, our country, our leadership is now protecting the very terrorists who attacked us and continue to attack our interests and continue to attack our military. And I have believed with all my heart, they’re going to attack our infrastructure in the United States. Our government is protecting those people against our allies. We’re protecting the enemy from our allies. I never thought I would say that out loud. I never thought I’d say that on the air. I never thought I’d see that day, Sam.
Sam Rohrer: No, but it has happened. Let’s go quick just because of time. Eastern Europe, Ukraine, and Russia, that is about to explode into a much larger thing than it is as well. Thoughts on that?
JR McGee: Russia’s been making very clear statements that they plan to use nuclear weapons if the US authorizes long-range weapons to be used by Ukraine. Putin doesn’t bluff. He’s never had to bluff. He’s not a bluffer. He tells you exactly what he’s thinking and what he’s going to go do. Biden just met with the British Prime Minister Starer in Washington DC this week. That meeting created additional potential for conflict between NATO and the United States. Biden came out of that and says, he doesn’t think much about Vladimir Putin. Well, somebody better be thinking about Vladimir Putin because anytime nuclear weapons are in play, that’s the definition of a very bad day. And now you’ve got China. China is looking at all of this chaos and all this instability in the United States and they’re viewing this as a window of opportunity. We’ve talked about this before, but now they see that window of opportunity being between now and November, and they’ve made it very clear that unless the United States changes their position and their opinion war is inevitable between China and the United States.
JR McGee: Their words, not mine. And I, we can’t do, can’t abandon Taiwan, we can’t protect the South China Sea unless we oppose China. So if we bow to the Chinese terms, we will be destroying the modern international bait of balance of trade, the stability of the world. It it’s unbelievable how the threats are mounting in such rapid series of events. And China continues to be the largest and the most dangerous threat to the United States, militarily, economically, technologically, agriculturally, you name it, China is the number one threat we’ve got to deal with. And I don’t see anybody in Washington DC taking that seriously, Sam?
Sam Rohrer: No, I don’t either. And JR and ladies and gentlemen, just over the weekend, Taiwan reported, which brought this to the forefront over the weekend, is that China was launching many, many missiles inside China and raised it. And now all that piece brings that to the forefront. Plus, if you are not aware, Chinese naval ships and planes are in joint operation with Russia off the coast of Alaska causing the United States to send more military troops to Alaska. Now, what’s that all that about? Well, because for years Russia has said their goal is to take back Alaska. Alright, so now you’ve got that. All of these things again, these all have surfaced over and during the weekend. So within that JR, it does. I mean the converging of these things, again, we’re talking about, we’re going to talk how we respond to this in the next segment. But from a military perspective, I don’t know how our military leaders can respond to all of them. And certainly what’s being done by the Biden administration seems not to be the right thing. Just comments here as we close the segment.
JR McGee: Well, we’ve drawn down our navy. In fact, we just put 17 naval ships into storage because we don’t have the people to operate them. We are reducing the production of the F 30 fives. We’re actually talking about mothballing some F 20 twos because we don’t want to pay to upgrade them. We’re deliberately making decisions that weaken our military. At the very point, we face the greatest danger in my lifetime, certainly. And I think since World War ii, all of these things that people are doing only make sense if you look at this through the lens of Satan and his desire to destroy the stability of the world and create the opportunity for what he plans to go do. And we’re seeing the Bible play out before our very eyes.
Sam Rohrer: And ladies and gentlemen, I think JR just gave you a little hint of how he’s responding to this. In the next segment, we’re both going to give our personal responses and how we are personally responding and thinking about all of this. And then JR will then close this program today in prayer. Well, JR, as we bring this program to a close, those who are listening to us across the nation have a lot of emotions. Most who listen are God fearing. Many I would say are remnant believers, meaning they truly know the Lord Jesus through faith in Christ and they know that their home is in heaven. And so our perspective as we look at things are different than a world that has no hope and as a world that looks to little gods as their hope, which is no hope at all. But I’ve noted you and I have talked before we went on this program, we’ve talked during this program, frankly from my perspective, talking about the things that we are seeing, it’s not a happy discussion.
Sam Rohrer: I don’t enjoy doing it. It’s a disturbing thing to talk about, but we cannot not talk about it. And I thought, Jay, I’m going to ask your perspective here just very quickly and then I’ll share some of mine as well, is that we may think that we’re unique, but those of us who are live right now and thinking through the process, hearing us talk, this is not the first time that people have in their age wondered what was going on. It’s happened through time. Even the disciples, I think back when Jesus was with them, Jesus was with them, God was with them. They were wondering, what’s going to happen tomorrow? Give us an indication. They said, master of what’s going to unfold. They were wondering, it’s happened throughout generations last 2000 years. All people, God’s people and the unbelieving have all been confronted with some minor events, many events way beyond their control, such as that we’re talking about today, life changing things.
Sam Rohrer: So with that in mind, knowing that we are common, it’s just common for us to wonder about what’s coming tomorrow and all that. I come to you right now and say, take a few minutes and say, how should believer it? Because you’ve had a walk with the Lord for a long time. I have. I’ve known the Lord for 62 years now. That’s a long time. How are you viewing what is happening and interpreting it in light of how people listening can but you personally, how are you personally processing the global and the domestic things which are touching our lives of some of which we’ve talked about today?
JR McGee: Sam, you just nailed it. It can be terrifying, but it’s exhilarating. At the same time, I’m watching the Bible that I read come to life before my very eyes and part of this I’m looking and asking myself, how did we get to this point? How did this happen? How did all of these things begin to develop to converge to where they are today? In 1990, the United States military attack and took on the third largest military in the world, which was at that time Iraq and won the war decisively in a hundred hours won it. And China noticed that and they respected that. Russia watched that with fear and trembling because they had no idea that American capabilities were that comprehensive and that strong. And you contrast that with where we are today. We can’t win anything. And that’s because we as a people and as a world have forgotten how you win a war.
JR McGee: You try with everything in your mind to avoid a war. Nobody who’s ever been in a war wants another one. Warriors are some of the most peace-loving people on the planet. But when you have to go to war, the purpose of war is to kill your enemy. We’ve forgotten that Israel today is showing the world how to win a war. You go after the people who are trying to kill your people and you kill them. It sounds harsh, it sounds horrendous, but if you reach the point where war is inevitable, that’s what you have to go do. And as I’m looking at all these things, Israel is alone on the world stage. You cannot show me anybody, any country that is truly supporting Israel and what they’re doing to try to ensure their national survival right now. And that’s precisely what they’re doing. They’re trying to survive and they’re going to go after the people who are killing them.
JR McGee: They’ve got a saying in Israel, never again. And they mean that we should mean that, but we don’t. We believe that we should win the narrative or we should achieve equilibrium with our POEs. No, that’s not how you win. That’s not how you maintain the peace. That’s how you negotiate your destruction and your surrender. I think as I’m looking at this, I have to see God’s hand is in all of this. As a Christian, I have to look this and not fear because of what’s going on. I have to look to the Lord and say, man, what you said is exactly right. It’s exactly coming to pass precisely as you said it was, and you were precisely who you said you were. All of this that can be so terrifying to unbelievers should be exciting and exhilarating to Christians because this shows us that the God we trust, the God we believe the God that we love is real. He’s who he says he is. He will do what he says he will do and he will deliver what he says he will deliver. And he’s told us he’s going to deliver Israel from her enemies.
JR McGee: I have no fear for Israel right now. I have plenty of fear for Israel’s enemies. And if you saw, there was a video that was put on the air today by the deputy who was replacing Nasrallah and this guy, he was sweating profusely. He was literally shaking as he was saying that Hezbollah will stand up and defeat Israel when they come across the border because they’re massing tanks on the border as we speak. It’s happening right this moment. He was shaking. He knows what’s coming. We as believers, we know what’s coming. We know what should be coming. We’ve seen it, we’ve read it. We say we believe it. Now we get to show with our actions. Do we really believe? Do we have faith or do we just have words?
JR McGee: I want God to find me faithful when he returns. And you look at, you can’t put your faith in the administration, our administration, or almost anybody’s government. For example, if you look at President Biden, everything that man has said for the last 40 years in terms of foreign affairs, he’s been on the wrong side. Or if anything, he’s consistent. He’s been on the wrong side for this. They’ve been telling Israel not to attack, not to defend, not to protect. You can’t do this. You can’t do that. You’ll slaughter hundreds of thousands of people. Israel’s done everything that we have told them they can’t do, and they’ve done it superbly with fewer civilian casualties than at any time in recorded history.
Sam Rohrer: And JR. I’ve got to step in. I’m not going to have time to give my commentary and my response, ladies and gentlemen, other than the fact of saying, observe what God’s word says is happening and consider relationship with him, relationship with others, and live for him. Be prepared for his return, Jr. You must close in prayer in remaining time. Please do it.
JR McGee: Heavenly Father, we thank you for being a God of strength and a God of majesty. We praise you for being a God who protects and defends. We ask you to watch over us. Give us courage, give us strength, give us wisdom, give us eyes to see, and ears to hear. Lord God, we ask you to watch over our nation. We pray for our leaders, but Lord, we also pray for our enemies. We pray that you would show them, reach them, touch them, heal them, and save them as well as us. Lord, you are the God that loves everybody and we should pray that everybody could see you for who you are, Lord God, thank you for all your examples. Thank you for the gift of your son and the unspeakable gift that you’ve given to each of us. But we thank you for all things in Jesus Christ and we pray. Amen.
Sam Rohrer: Amen. Amen. Thank you Jr. Ladies and gentlemen, how can we best close by saying, if you do not know, the Lord is your Savior. You trust him now the most important, if you do know him, make sure that your heart is right with God above. Your relationships are right with those around. Embrace the truth, live it, be salt. Be light while the Lord has us here yet and be anxiously await to his return. We are to do that.
