Host Jamie Mitchell. One of the cornerstone truths of the New Testament is that we no longer have an exclusive priesthood. The fact is that when we come to faith in Christ, every believer is a priest. That’s why we call it the priesthood of the believers. It means that we’re all ministers, witnesses, teachers, evangelists, missionaries sent by God to share the good news of life transformation through salvation in Jesus Christ. Wow. What a privilege and what a responsibility. And that’s really exciting, but I have some sober news for us today and it’s probably something that all of us recognize. Most Christians never get in the game when it comes to sharing their faith. Let’s be honest, we are outright insincere, ineffective, and dispassionate about engaging with lost people and helping them move closer to finding forgiveness of their sins in eternal life. We have more excuses than we have time on this single program to discuss.

But what is really sad is that because we never share our faith, our own faith suffers. How can we ever sense the power and the presence of God in our lives if we never take the step of faith and share Christ with a lost and dying world? In short, we need to get fired up about sharing Christ. And my guest today, for the past 50 years, has pursued each day asking the Lord for an opportunity to move one person one step closer to coming to Christ. And he believes the absence of intentional desires to witness for Christ is why most Christians lack joy, the church lacks power, and America is enslaved in darkness. Amen to all of that. Barry McGuire is the president of McGuire’s car wax. Just go out to your garage and you probably have a can or a bottle of one of his products out there.

I know I do. And for 18 years, he has had his own television show Car Crazy on the Discovery Channel, but now he is the founder of a national movement called Ignite America, which seeks to move everyone every day closer to Jesus. I promise you today, if you listen and stay with us, you’re going to get fired up to get on mission. Barry McGuire, welcome to Stand in the Gap today, my friend.

Barry Meguiar:

Oh, thank you. I’m already fired up. I mean, you don’t need me. I can’t say it any better than you just said it. Amen and amen.

Jamie Mitchell:

Well, part of that infectious excitement was my pre-program conversation with you. Barry, you’re an inspiration and a joy. And I want to get to Ignite America and your desire to challenge pastors and thus Christians to get started sharing their faith. But I think it’s important for our people to know your story, your faith heritage, how a guy who makes cars shine is now fixated on shining the light of Christ. Barry, share with our audience a little bit about your background.

Barry Meguiar:

Whatever God places in your hand, whether you’re a housewife or a professional athlete or a lawyer or a salesman or whatever you’re doing, that’s your territory. And I discovered that back in the early ’70s. God inspired me to take our little family business that my grandfather, a praying man, started in 1901. And by the 1960s when I got out of college, I’m dating myself here now. I’m an old guy. But I just said, “God, I’m going to apply everything I’ve learned in church. I grew up in church, in Christian college. I’m going to apply it to my life. Now I’m an adult. I’m going to apply it to my life.” But we were bumping cards in filthy, dirty body shops at that time. They were nice places to go to. And God inspired me. He spoke to me very clearly through other people and directly to go retail.

And I said, “God, I don’t know anything about retail. I don’t know how to call it a little bitty one person shop, leave alone going retail and chain stores. I don’t know anything. So

I’m going to rely on this scripture, trust the Lord with your whole heart.” And this is the key, and everything’s going to go back to this. How do you have wholehearted faith? How do we have it where we never have a worry in the world? And Karen and I haven’t had worries. We haven’t had anything to fear for decades. So I’m living proof it’s true. And I trust the Lord with my whole heart and don’t depend on my own understanding. It’s the Proverbs three: five, of course. Well, I say, God, it is easy for me because I don’t have any understanding. I don’t have a clue what I’m doing going into retail. So I just got to follow your lead. And so now here we are, these whatever, 50 years later, number one, selling car wax around the world. And it’s been quite a ride and terrifyingly scary at points if I wasn’t with the Lord.

But I knew that every step I took, every sales decision I made, every decision I made on my labels, on my pricing structure, on my hiring of people, on my selling my product, my highest goal was leading people closer to Jesus. And then everything else followed. I was going to leave my business. I’ll give you a quick story. I was going to leave my business in 1976. I was having so much fun sharing my faith and knew it was working. But my faith was exploding. I was so having fun being in full-time ministry. And I prayed this perfect prayer in my office one day. I said, God, I think you’re leading me into full-time, what I perceived as full-time ministry, being a paid person. And I’ll do it in a nanosecond if it’s really what you want me to do, but you almost have to speak to me in an audible voice.

And about 20 minutes later, a guy walked into my office, a solid Christian, loves the Lord. I’d never met him. I knew him from church. He was a missionary kid, grew up in Africa. I’d seen him from the platform a couple times. Never had any conversation with him. His name was Dave McNutt. And he walked in, the secretary said, “There’s a Dave McNutt here to see you.” And I said, “Okay. I don’t know what on earth is he doing in my office.” He comes in, he asks a couple of questions and I tell him about sharing my faith. He says, “God’s given you a wonderful ministry here, Edney. Why would you say that? After I just prayed, God, if you want me to go into a full-time ministry, I’ll do it. I just prayed that 20 minutes early. Here’s this guy. You have a wonderful ministry here.” I said, “Why would you say that?” He says, “Because the people you’re reaching, a pastor couldn’t reach.

But as a businessman, you can. It’s obvious. And he gave me this line. He gave me this line in 1976. It’s obvious that your business is your pulpit.”

It hits me right now. That was 50 years ago right now or 2026. 50 years ago, he told me my business is my pulpit. And I’ve shouted that message ever since to everybody. And I don’t care who you are, where you are, what you’re going through right now. I don’t care if you’re dying in the hospital. That’s your pulpit. In fact, you got more game if you’re dying because people don’t expect you to have joy and faith until Jesus. And I’ve been there. I was there 15 years ago. I was dying. They’d all give it up on me. And I never had so much power in my testimony in my life. The bad times of your life are the best times of your life to share your favorite. They don’t expect you to have joy in the midst of trial. But anyway, it’s been great.

Jamie Mitchell:

Here’s the joy now. Your joy now is firing up pastors to do what you’ve been doing for 50 years. And that’s what we’re going to be talking about this program. The pastor’s not hired holy man, friends. We need to be out there sharing our faith. When we come back, what is Ignite America and what is it trying to accomplish? And he’s fired up and wants to fire up churches and pastors regarding sharing their faith. Barry, what is Ignite America? How did it get started? And what was the driving reason that you launched this ministry?

Barry Meguiar:

I really came direct from God in the year 2000. The same individual that came to me and said, “Your business is your pulpit.” It’s now 24 years later. I hadn’t seen him since. And out of the blue, he called me, he said, “I have a word for you from the Lord.” And his word was Prayer Jabez. That book had just come out. He said, “Have you read it?” I said, “No.” A month later, I think everybody in my Christian life had read it, but at that moment I’d not heard of it. He said, “I read it this weekend. A friend gave it to me. And as I read it, God told me to come back and tell you he’s going to enlarge your territory.

Jamie Mitchell:

Going to give you a ministry separate and apart from your business.” And the next seven years, our hundred year old family business doubled in size. Our TV show went global. Our distribution went global. It’s just crazy growth. We knew it wasn’t about car wax or money or anything else. It was about a platform. He was giving us a platform for that. So at the same time, I knew what the ministry was. I knew that I was going down a path. I didn’t know anybody else. I never found anybody else going down. And that was this idea of that we are in full-time ministry and we’re focused. It’s just so biblical and we ignore the most basic

Parts of the Bible. I think we confuse it a lot as to what we’re supposed to be doing with our lives. And I must confess that at one point in time, my business was my God. It was the subject of my prayers, my emotions, my ups and downs. Everything was about my business and God. I went through a two year period praying for my business until God finally earned from me. I said, “What on earth? How can I be that stupid? Take the business from me. I don’t care. I don’t need the business. I just want to be where you want me to be.” And God got my attention. Then from then on, I was back on track and following his lead. But folks, you are in full-time ministry. I’m sorry, you’re not going to get away from this comment I’m going to make to you right now, but I don’t care who you are, where you are.

If you’re a Christian, you’re in full-time ministry. Do you understand that everything you say and do all day long is moving everybody watching you closer or further away from God, whether they be Christian or not, whether they be family? Every once in a while I say something to my wife in the morning in the bathroom as we’re getting ready and I look at her face. I said, “Hmm,

I did not just move you closer to Jesus.” I mean, it’s everything. Bring everything under subjection. Folks, I got to tell you, it’s overwhelmingly true. Those folks who are not Christians are primarily not Christians because of Christians. They’re looking at. Most Christians are complaining like everybody else. The language today and normal Christians would never know what happened 60 years ago. The language, the looseness, the indulgences of Christians today, we don’t care. We live under grace. Well, we are living under grace. And you could probably do all those things to go to heaven. I’m not saying that I’m not saying you’re not a Christian, you’re going to heaven. I’m saying you’re missing the whole point of the game. When you become a Christian, he says now, live for me and love your neighbors as yourself. If you love your neighbors as yourself, you’ll be as concerned for their salvation.

And that’s everybody around you folks. You’d be concerned for the salvation, everybody around you as much as you are your own. And that’ll clean up your language real quick and the way you dress and the way you indulge. I mean, it just changes there. And he says, “By the way, when you do those two, you do all of them.” And so I fulfill the 10 commandments and all the laws not out of. I can’t even quote them. I’m not doing it out of legalism. I do it out of pure joy. I’ve had the time of my life raising everybody every day closer to Jesus folks.

Once you get onto that and realize that you’ve just been sitting on the bench on your way to heaven, but getting beat up and complaining and worrying, you know what? 75% of evangelicals are caught in fear today. 75%. If we’re living in fear, we can’t share faith. Satan’s too was a keep you in fear and laugh at you and keep you paralyzed. You’re worried about the economy and your job and your health. Leave alone worried about, oh, if I share my faith, what am I going to do? So you’re paralyzed and you’re not growing, you’re not having fun. If you want to have fun, get off the bench. And you know how you do that? There’s a scripture that you know already that’s the key. And you don’t even realize it, most of you, because it’s misquoted oftentimes. But it’s probably one of the scriptures you know most more than anything else.

Even the heathen know. Oh, it’ll all work for good together. It’ll all work together for good. We all know that. No, no, this is God. He’s speaking to each one of us. He’s speaking to you right now. And he’s saying he’s promising you. Holy God, he’s not fighting with you. This is holy God saying to you, I promise you. It’s the end of fear. No more fear. You get the scripture. I promise you I’ll make everything work together for good. Everything. The smallest of things when you do two things. And it mirrors when he said, love me and love your neighbors yourself. It’s the very same thing, but stronger. He says, I’ll make everything work together for good when you love me and you live for my purpose. Not your purpose, not to sell car wax. You live for my purpose.

Let me just complete the point. His purpose, the question is, what is his purpose? And we’re not defining that. His purpose is very clear. He stated it clearly. I came to seek and save the lost. So when you live every day to seek and save the loss above that sales presentation, above that board meeting, above the sports event, whatever it is that’s going on in your life, it’s all tempered, all go away. When you leave as your highest, everywhere you go, no matter where you’re at, you’re cheering in the middle of a game, you’re in the middle of the loss, you’re in the sales presentation. Your goal is to move everybody every day closer to Jesus. And when you do that, it doesn’t matter if you lose the sale or you lose the game

Jamie Mitchell:

You just move that person closer to Jesus. And when you do that, you live in the promise. Hear this. You live in the promise, God’s promised to you. When you live for my purpose, I’ll make everything work together for good. So in the worst of times, in the worst of times, God will work it for good if you’re using the worst of times in your life to honor him and move everybody around you closer to Jesus.

Jamie Mitchell:

Barry, we got a couple of minutes left and I don’t want to miss this question because I’ve been wanting to ask you, when you and I spoke before this program, you said something. You said that you want to ignite Christians to ignite the church. And we usually think that’s the other way around. Why do you believe individual Christians are needed right now? And from your perspective, what is happening in the church? Why do we got to get Christians fired up about the Lord from your perspective? Well, that’s a big answer. We have about two minutes left.

Barry Meguiar:

Do we need to wait till after the break to give that big answer?

Jamie Mitchell:

No, no. I want you to start answering it because I think it’s an important question.

Barry Meguiar:

Well, I think that it’s time for lay people to start doing it because the churches aren’t. Pastors, you’re not doing that. I’m sorry. But I go to churches all over the United States. I don’t hear you saying my job is to equip you for ministry and send you. I’m not hearing that.

Jamie Mitchell:

Know that only 10% of our sermons, few research did this study, only 10% of our sermons out of 60,000 sermons they studied, only 10% even mentioned salvation. I don’t know. What are we? Social gatherings or whatever. I mean, we’re meant to get people saved. And pastor, it starts with you. We’re in trouble because of the church. And when the church in trouble because of our pastors, because we stopped proclaiming the word and we stopped doing the number one thing he’s told you to do, pastors, equip us for ministry and send us. You equip us, equip us. Firm us up, get us strong, then send us out. You’re not doing it. And so we say, I can’t influence all the pastors, but I can influence thousands and thousands of lave people that are doing it every day now. People are reading my book and they’re out saying, I never.

There’s hundreds of reviews on amazon.com regarding our book, Ignite Your Life. And all of them say the same thing. I never shared my faith and now I’m sharing my faith every day and having the time in my life. So igniting Christians to ignite the church. So the few of us that are doing to ignite the entire church to ignite America with revival, but one person at a time, it’s going to take. There’s 30 million of us. What if a million of us actually went out and started potentially doing that every day moving everywhere? We’d have revival in America. I’d be happy with 500,000. We got less than 1% of Christians born again. Evangelical Christians are sharing their faith. And the problem is then we have a world full of people that seem evil, but they’re not evil. They’re lost. They’re lost. Their eyes are blinded.

They say evil is good. That’s why they pontificated all these ridiculous insane things. I mean, how is that even possible? They’re not stupid. They’re not. They’re lost. Satan has them blinded and they’re going to stay lost. They’re not going to church. They’re going to stay lost unless one of us tells them God loves them. That’s on us. The whole problem with America is not them, the world, it’s us. And pastors, it’s on you. That’s your number one responsibility. Send us. You can only affect so many people. What if your whole 85 people in your congregation or a thousand, whatever it is? What if you sent them out moving everybody every day closer to Jesus? Can you imagine the change in your community in the next week or the last next month? I mean, pastors, we need you. We need you pastors to preach the word.

Jamie Mitchell:

Friends, listen to what Barry is saying. The church needs help. Pastors need help. And the answer is sitting right in front of us. If we were to get in the game and start sharing our faith, it would be a chain reaction and it will be the seed, I believe, for revival. Now, when we come back, I want Barry to share some simple, powerful steps to start sharing your faith. He’s written these down. He shares them with other people. But we’re going to look at these seven steps to get in the game. Don’t go anywhere. We’re talking about sharing our faith and igniting America here at Stand in the Gap today.

Thanks for staying with us. If you’re just joining us, Barry McGuire is not just concerned about your car looking good, but more so that you will be obedient to Christ and have a dynamic witness for the Lord. Barry, when I looked at your website, igniteamerica.com, I found seven step process to get in the game regarding sharing your faith. It was seven steps and they were simple, yet they were profound. And I want to take this segment and I want you to take a couple of minutes at each of these points and unpack it and explain it. Let me give the first three. Here’s what I saw. It starts with prayer. Love on everyone. Be generous. Why is that is where we start when it comes to learning how to share our faith?

Barry Meguiar:

Well, it is all spiritual, isn’t it? And just before we go down that path, let me just say the obvious. Pastors, it starts with you. And you can’t just say, say as I say and not as I do. You want to change your church? How would you like everybody in your church taking notes on your sermons and knowing that every one of them are going out all week long, sharing your sermons, going out loving on people, moving everybody closer to Jesus? It’s a team sport. We

Jamie Mitchell:

Barry Meguiar:

About it sport a bit, but it’s a team sport because we don’t all do it by one person. I may be the first person or the 20th person. I don’t know. I just want to move everybody closer. And then God brings another person, then another person. Sometimes it’s 20 impressions before they finally get there. So how do we start that process? Well, pastor, again, if you would start doing this yourself, I guarantee you, you have so many stories by Sunday, exciting stories that just make you jump out of your shoes. And you’ll want to tell one of those stories every Sunday morning. And when they hear those stories coming out to you as you as a layman, apart from being a minister, just walking into a restaurant or in a meeting room or wherever you might be, a sporting event, and you just love when the person next to you and the conversation opens up and you leave them closer to Jesus, you can’t contain yourself.

Once you start doing that, it’s like an addiction. And yes, it starts with loving of people. He said, “They’ll know you’re my disciple by all the recitation of scripture or by your amazing outgoing personality or by your wealth or by…” It’s none of that. He just said go. And he didn’t say, “They’ll know you’re my disciple by your love.”

Jamie Mitchell:

Amen. So

Barry Meguiar:

There’s no cop out. I mean, we’re all witnesses. All of us are witnesses. None of us, if you’re a Christian, you’re a witness either for the prosecution or for the defense. Okay? And you do that by just loving on people. It’s so simple. So I give you these steps real quick. It’s just so simple. It takes all the fear away because the obligation is the Holy Spirit. It’s not yours. You need to be willing. Just love on people wherever you’re at. Put the phone away, have a smile on your face and expect people to talk to you, and they will. And you’ll love on them and find something special about them, their hairdo, their clothes or whatever, the tattoo in there, whatever it is. You just start loving on them. And in the process, you let them know that you’re a Christian and in some way that’s not offensive.

You might say something like, “Oh, that must put a smile on God’s face.” Or, “Boy, God saved your bacon on that one.” A way that they laugh and they’re not offended. But you know what? 100% of the people around you are searching because it’s.

Jamie Mitchell:

So Barry, let’s get back to the first three. Start with prayer. Love everyone. Be generous. Explain those three in a minute each.

Barry Meguiar:

I’ve just hung up on loving people. People are starving for love. And it’s the Holy

Jamie Mitchell:

Spirit

Barry Meguiar:

Loving them through you and that confirms. And then they listen to you and then they open up to you. Be generous with your time. If it’s a waitress in a restaurant, don’t sip them. If you’re talking to them about the Lord, tip them generously, but just be generous with your time, with your love. And don’t be focused on getting them saved. Be focused on loving on them. That’s it. That’s your responsibility. Love on them. And they’ll open up to you quickly within

Jamie Mitchell:

Five

Barry Meguiar:

Minutes. I’ve been doing it for 50 years. They’ll open up within five minutes and they’ll tell you a need. They’ll give you a window under their soul. And the best part is the Holy Spirit then gives you the words to say when you need them. That’s his promise to you. In Luke 12:12, the Holy Spirit give you the words. That’s the exciting part. You don’t have to prayer. You can’t prepare for five, six conversations every day. You can’t do that. You just relax and let the Holy Spirit give you the words. And when that happens, folks, you know you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. God, how else can you find know that God has put you exactly at that moment in that place. He orchestrated that conversation. He’s given you the words to say. The person in front of you is changing in front of your eyes.

That’s intimacy with God. Then there’s nothing else like it. There’s nothing else like in the human experience.

Jamie Mitchell:

Let’s keep moving through the process, Barry. The last four steps. Explain, connect God to good works. Shumming for Jesus. Follow the nudge and always be ready. Finish up and tell me what those four statements mean in your process to get started.

Barry Meguiar:

Those are before you even talk to somebody. So you’re going up to the pre time. And that’s always chumming. We’re fishers of men. So I chum all the time. And I’m throwing out peace about God. Every conversation, I don’t care where I am, I tell no care how ungodly it is. I throw out something about God just to let them know where I am. I’m not offending them. They’re not offended, but they know I’m a Krisha. Boy, that’s why God give us a beautiful day today. Or God just saved your bacon. Boy,

God really blesses. There’s a way to do that. So that’s chumming. And then leave it alone. Don’t go back. Don’t even mention it again. Don’t go away. Second time you go back, you offend people. But it puts the thought. And if they’re hungry, they’ll come up the chum line. So at any given time, I have hundreds of chum lines all over the place. I had one come up to me yesterday that I put out maybe three years ago and they came up the chum line yesterday. So chumming. And what you want to do is you just, again, you want to love people. We say, follow the nudge. The Holy Spirit’s always nudging you. You know what I mean? He’s nudging you to go talk to that person. John just found out he has cancer. You should call him. Oh, I don’t know what I would tell him.

This person is in distress. I can see that, but oh, I got a meeting to go to. I’m too busy. I’m with a secular person. They’re all tied up in a knot, which happens to all of us all the time where people are all kinds of problems. I should ask John if I can pray for him. Oh, he’ll think I’m a fanatic. We have all these excuses. We have a place on our website, igniteamerica.com. Most frequent excuses. We blow them apart with scripture. Follow the nudge, folks. When you have that nudge, follow the nudge. You’ll live in the fog. You’ll live in the favor of God. Really, you live in the favor of Romans 8:28 when he says, “When you live for my purpose, I’ll make everything work for good.” That’s the fog. That’s the favor of God. That’s where you want to live, folks.

Nothing Bible. And then always be ready to share. Every moment. If you’re doing these things. And no

Barry Meguiar:

Matter where. Yes.

Jamie Mitchell:

Wow. Barry, one last question I want to get to. And this is a fascinating thing that you were sharing with me and I believe it. And that is, if people don’t share their faith, they’re not faithful. It begins to affect their own personal walk with the Lord. To the converse, if they do, they’ll experience joy and excitement and they’ll start to see God moving. But you really believe that one of the reasons why there’s joylessness and there’s this fear and this almost depression on Christians today is because they’re not sharing their faith. You have about a minute left in this segment. What does that mean to you? And explain what you meant when you shared that with me. Well,

Barry Meguiar:

It’s the great commission. I mean, how much clearer can he make it to go out and make disciples? And when you don’t do that, everything falls apart on you. It all boils around that because when you do that, you’ll have faith. Isaiah 43:10, folks, write this scripture down. Isaiah 43:10, “Thus sayeth the Lord, I appoint him as my witness so that you will believe that you, not they, that you will believe. He wants you to share your faith so you believe. Because when you’re sharing your faith, you have intimacy with God and your faith explodes without that. How are you going to have wholehearted faith? You may be saved, but you have wholehearted faith. He’ll answer your prayers. James one, he’ll answer your prayers if you have wholehearted faith. Proverbs read God, he’ll direct your steps if you have wholehearted faith. The parable of the fig tree, when you’re bearing fruit, I will give you joy every day.

You want to have days full of joy, knowing God’s directing every step, that everything is working there for good? It all comes down to one clear thing. Live for his purpose. Move everybody every day closer to Jesus. And that opens the door. I got to tell you, if you do this, you’re going to have the time of your life for the rest of your life. I’m 85 years old. I’ve never had more fun in my life or more energy. It’s true, folks. The scriptures work.

Jamie Mitchell:

Hey, as I’ve been listening, I’m thinking that sixth step might be the most significant, friends, as you look through those seven steps that Barry shared. Follow the nudge. Beloved, every day, we are to walk in a way that you ask God to open the door and bring an opportunity, bring a contact, bring a divine appointment to us. And when we ask God to do that, he will. And when he does, we’ve got to follow that prompting and share our faith at whatever level the person will allow you to share with them. Well, when we finish up, Barry will share some resources that he has produced to help become an effective witness. We’ll talk about how pastors are the key and need to get in the game. And then you’ll not be saying the pulpit Sunday mornings just saying, do it because you’re supposed to do it because they tell you. You give your own story. I was just at a ticket counter Southwest and I started sharing. Before I know it, he says, “Can I walk you to the gate?” What? He grabbed Karen’s bag, walked us to the gate. By the time we got the gate, we’re holding him in prayer and he’s weeping. We gave him one of these cards and he says, “I also took a picture of your ticket.” I said, “Why?” He say, “Because I want to remember your name. This is the most important conversation I ever had in my life.” And that ignites your life, folks. Your life will change completely when you just knew what he asked you to do.

I want to ask you about pastors as we close here. We got just a couple of minutes. And we’ve been very clear as we’ve been talking today that both believers need to get fired up because it’s not happening in the church. And maybe if they’ll get their life moving in the right direction, they start sharing their faith. They get excited about the Lord. Maybe they’ll affect the church, but the real key here is the pastor. And we’re the American Pastors Network. We have a good segment of our listening audience, our pastors. And if not, what happens is the people listening will send the link of this program to their pastor and say, “Pastor, I just listened to Stand in the Gap today and they were saying some things.” And being a shepherd is a tough job. It’s not easy. It’s a spiritually heavy job. But if a pastor will really take some time out of his week and give it to sharing their faith, and as well as motivating and encourage some of their flock to get in the game of sharing their faith with their unbelieving friends, their neighbors, their coworkers, family members, it really can change some things around.

Barry, take a second. What testimony of a pastor, you’ve talked to a lot of pastors. Is there one, and you don’t need to mention their name, but is there one in particular you remember and you think of that, man, this guy got in the game when it came to sharing their faith and it transformed not only his life, but his ministry?

Yeah. Yeah. I’ll do better than that. Pastors, you can come to our website and you get these cards and we’ll give you the artwork. And the seeking God doesn’t promote our ministry, doesn’t mention our ministry, doesn’t ask for money. It’s just pure ministry. No sign-ins, whatever. We don’t ask for anything. It’s just pure ministry. Pastors, churches across America now are taking these cards and putting their church information on the back, on the back.

So pastors that have started doing it themselves realize how exciting it is. They’re so particularly excited about how easy it is to ignite people, to share, get their interests up and bring them back to the church and give them this card that leads them to the Lord. They’re now doing that. My pastor, Jack Hibbs, is now promoted and put on tables around the church as people exit. 60,000 cards have been taken by his people at Calvary Chapel People. And we have church doing that all the places on fire. Can you imagine how you can affect your people if you’re doing it yourself and you say, “Get the cards and join with me. We all need to be doing this. You have a whole church and you’re going to have church growth that you can’t believe. That’s exciting. That’ll ignite you. It’ll ignite your people. It’ll definitely ignite your church.”

Well, I’ll tell you, Barry, I know from experience, 40 years ago I was a youth pastor and somebody said to me, “Just take your young people out and do some survey evangelism on the street.” And I though to myself, “Man, taking high school kids out there.” And they didn’t know how to answer questions. They said more times than not, “I don’t know the answer to that question, but I can find out for you.” But what I watched was as they got out and took the risk, God showed up in big ways in their lives.
