Sam Rohrer:

Hello and welcome to this Monday edition of Stand in the Gap Today. And it’s this first Monday of November. And all I can say as we begin this live program is what a day it is turning out to be. And we’ll get into more of that today as my guest today, J.R. McGee, joins me again. This is also our monthly focus on national security, geopolitics, and biblical prophecy. And as I start this program, without a doubt, there are things happening all around the world. And we did not choose, we’ll share what some of those things are right now. We did not determine this program direction because of what we now know is happening to the contrary. We chose the direction of this program because what has been occurring for a very long time, but kind of coming to a head. So we’re going to consider today growing warnings and examine important elections that are a part of that process, political transitions.

We’re going to assess developing military alliances and then conclude by asking the question, what does God’s word say about times like these? And the title I’ve chosen to frame today’s program is this, Elections, Warnings and Preparations, Biblical Clarity and Times of Confusion. From America to Israel and from Europe to the Middle East, warnings are increasing. I think you’ve certainly heard about this. They’ve been happening for about 10 days at least. But warnings are increasing and preparations of varying types are underway. Citizens are being warned of potential grid disruption, electrical grid disruptions and empty shelves. Governments are actively preparing and elections are reshaping political landscapes while military alliances continue to evolve. And compared to past decades, and according to the most recent quantifiable research, which I just finished this morning, while emergency preparedness campaigns in the past were largely localized to natural disaster seasons like hurricane or earthquake seasons, that type of thing, the current wave of warnings is, this is how Israel is being reported, “Unprecedented in its cross-border coordination.” Remember that.

Now today’s current wave of preparedness warnings is unprecedented in several ways, including what is referred to as “its synchronized scale.” Right now around 33 nations, there’s 190 in the world, so it’s a lot. Around 33 nations alongside supranational bodies like the entire European Union. So it’s more than 33 nations, but they’ve stepped up coordinated public advisories. For instance, countries like Finland, France and the UK recommend a baseline 72 hour self-sufficiency window. Nations like Germany and Sweden are advising up to seven to 10 days of household reserves to counter what they say are hybrid warfare, cyber threats and infrastructure vulnerabilities. Yet despite all the analysis, all the polling, all the planning, all the promises, one thing seems to be increasingly true. And that’s not that certainty is increasing, but that uncertainty is increasing. Why? Well, we’re going to answer these questions. Are these developments part of a larger trend and what should believers make of it all?

And with that, J.R. McGee and JR, thank you for being back with me. We have so much to go over today.

J.R. McGee:

We do, Sam. What a world we live in today.

Sam Rohrer:

So let’s get here, J.R. Around the world right now we’re hearing warning. We’re seeing things happen. Preparations by governments, warnings, institutions, some of that which I referred to, perhaps greater than any time in history, at least what being said is unprecedented. But from your evaluations, what’s the core message being delivered in all of these various messages? For instance, are they coordinated? Are they spontaneously occurring? And in either case, do you think that they are designed to really prepare people or more to scare people?

J.R. McGee:

Sam, I think these are absolutely coordinated attacks. I think these are all related. And the warnings, I believe they’re going to great lengths to not scare people. In fact, they’re under emphasizing, I think some of the dangers so that they don’t paralyze people with fear. I believe that as we look at what’s going on, some of the nations of the world that are not superpowers are beginning to flex their strength and show that they are forces to be reckoned. And as you and I have talked about several times over the past couple of years, our electrical grid, our telecommunications network, our food security systems, they are at risk. The internet has placed the control of some of these things at the risk of people who can have basically a high school education. They can do things that nation states used to be the only ones who could do.

And nation states have become truly scary in what they can accomplish.

Sam Rohrer:

All right. Let me go to this second question. Are today’s warnings and widely varied recommendations, some of what I cited, it’s all over, and different recommendations for preparations. Are they simply reactions to immediate concerns such like what we’re seeing in Europe right now? The refrigeration systems across Europe right now are being hacked. Food, storage, refrigeration, great harm being done as we speak. Does that point to deeper political and economic and cultural, and I’m going to say spiritual realities that should not be ignored as we’re looking at these physical things happening, the spiritual component, that aspect of it. Put that into that as we begin.

J.R. McGee:

Sam, clearly this is cross-cultural and it’s multifunction. These attacks, these threats, I believe are very real and I believe you ignore them at your own peril. Now I am not a prepper. I am not someone who gets scared or even defensive at a lot of these things. I look at what’s going on and respond versus react. People who react typically get into trouble and they do the wrong things. People who respond, look at what’s going on logically, rationally and with some degree of insight and they do things to respond to what’s going on. And I think that’s what we should be doing. As we’re looking at these things, I think we should take people who threaten us at face value. I think that they can do what they say they’re doing. And I think just like a sailor looks at the sky at night, they can tell the signs of the times and the weather for the next day.

We can look at what’s going on around us and see that we should be taking prudent steps and thoughtful preparation to take care of our families.

Sam Rohrer:

Yeah. Let me show you this real quick before we break. You have about 45 seconds here as we get into the break. But here’s this, attacks what you’re talking about, that’s one thing. But the warnings that are being issued, are the warnings sufficient and should people discount warnings or should they do it? And we’re going to end up with biblical warnings at the end, but speak to that just a little bit before we leave this for second.

J.R. McGee:

I think we should be absolutely taking these warnings very seriously. In fact, I’m doing so personally. I believe that some of these people who are ill will at heart mean what they say. And I think that they’re desperate enough that they can do this, they will do this. And I believe we should be taking these warnings very seriously, Sam.

Sam Rohrer:

All right, ladies and gentlemen. Okay. Now we’re talking today. Here’s the theme if you’re just turning in. J.R. McGee is with me today. There’s the first Monday of the month. We talk about geopolitical events and so forth. Theme is this, elections, warnings and preparations, biblical clarity and times of confusion. We’re going to end with that biblical clarity. We just started out with warnings and preparations and certain things and the uncertainty provides. Next segment we’re going to talk about elections, transitions and more uncertainty. Well, if you’re just joining us, we have a very timely subject today because happening all around us as we do this program, there are, well, warnings. We’ve been hearing about warnings the last week from, well, at this point, at least over 33 countries have been issuing warnings. And even here in the United States, FEMA announced a few days ago that there will be a nationwide test of the emergency alert system.

So it’s happening all over. Into the middle of that, then comes other things. And one of those are elections. Now, one of the traditional purposes of elections is to provide clarity and stability by allowing citizens to choose leaders and a direction for the future that reflects what they want for those nations that have elections. Obviously many don’t. Yet, as I have conducted careful, quantifiable and observable research and preparation for this program and in the past and today, recent elections around the world would appear to be having, well, let’s put this way, the opposite effect. For instance, just within the past 10 days, Brazil elected a president in a very closely contested runoff, just a few percentage points difference, but that’s now facing legal challenges on all sides. Israel, as we all know and are watching, have completed elections for the 26th Knesset, but coalition negotiations are only beginning as competing parties.

They have a parliamentary system there’s a little bit different, but as competing parties seek to assemble a governing majority. So things are definitely up in the air there. Now here in America, we have elections that are happening tomorrow. We know that. No one can miss it. Many voters having already voted, and what I’ve seen in that is there’s a lot of speculation and some doubt already being raised about who and how and when, but not most voters, as we all know, will go to the polls tomorrow. And I hope that you will go. Certainly it’s our duty to do so and privilege, but what are we going to determine? Well, ultimately determines the political control of Congress and the state legislatures because all of those representative bodies, everybody in them are up for election and then half of the Senate and in most states and definitely in Washington.

But there’s one thing about it, there’s perhaps, and I’ve been in office for a long time, I can tell you, I mean, you all perceive it, probably it’s one of the most politically divided periods in recent history. So rather than calming concerns and reducing tensions, many of these elections, which I just mentioned three, they’re big visible ones, they seem to be exposing deeper divisions within nations and peoples within nations and creating even more uncertainty about what comes next. So JR, in this last segment, the one before, we talked about the global warnings and the result of uncertainty that it is certainly creating. Now let’s talk about elections because with elections come transitions and becomes changes in political power, governmental power. And in my opinion, it’s what we’re calling, I would say, more uncertainty. So elections are normal. They intend to clarify nations directions, JR, yet in Brazil, Israel, and even here in the United States, they are raising as many questions as they answer.

Here’s my question to you. From your geopolitical perspective, why are elections, particularly in our day today, producing more uncertainty than less?

J.R. McGee:

Well, Sam, it’s partly because we’re more divided today than we’ve ever been

Sam Rohrer:

In

J.R. McGee:

My lifetime. The passions are running so deep, so intense, and it’s now been set up to where I don’t believe it matters which side wins. The other side is going to be extremely upset about the result. One side’s already planning on what they’re going to do if they lose. The other side’s already planning on what they’re going to do if they win and what they’re going to do if they’re going to lose. The stakes have never been higher than they are right now. We’re actually choosing a fundamental direction for our government and our country and that’s going to have tremendous ramifications for our families and for exactly who we’re going to be as a nation going forward. The opportunity that this election provides is going to determine who we are as a nation, what our values are going to be, and those consequences are significant.

And as a result of that, people are willing to go far beyond what we would normally see in an election in order to win. Some people are even willing to do underhanded things that they wouldn’t normally do. I’ve seldom seen passions this high in my lifetime across the board. And it’s not just in the United States, Sam. We’re seeing the exact same passions in Israel, the exact same passions in France, the exact same passions right now in Italy, in Brazil. Peru just had elections where they changed directions. It seems to be worldwide. It is absolutely connected and the world is reforming into different alliances, different factions, and they’re choosing sides in a battle that’s going to have tremendous consequences on what we are, what our values are, and how we operate and work as a people.

Sam Rohrer:

I agree totally with what you’re saying there, JR, because it’s really hard to miss it, but you took it into direction, which I’m glad that you did because whether people in Brazil, again, as I said before, people in Brazil looking at what’s happening in Brazil and they have commentary on what happened in their election. And same thing’s taking place in Israel. Same thing is occurring here. And everyone, they’re not careful, can view that everything revolves around their nation and their election. What you brought up is the fact that it’s happening around the world and that there are alliances, which we’ll talk about in the next segment that are changing worldwide. So that puts this in a very different perspective, much bigger. Now here, let me just go into this question. When you compare these three big elections, you brought Peru, that’s one, and actually there’s some more down there in South America, but Brazil’s legal challenges, Israel’s coalition building process that is really being drug out now, and America’s deeply divided electorate heading into tomorrow’s vote.

Here’s a question. Is there a common theme or common or core characteristic that you see that helps to understand the broader condition of the nations? Again, expanding this beyond just the specific country at stake.

J.R. McGee:

It looks at tactics. It looks at the strategy and the tactics. There’s a new term out that’s called darvo, D-A-R-V-O. And that says in these things, it’s worth the fight to deny. And if that doesn’t work, you attack the other side. And if that doesn’t work, you reverse the victim and the offender. That’s where you get the acronym DARVO, D-A-R-V-O. You deny, you attack, you reverse the victim and the offender so that you can put the onus on the other side and basically claim that they’re doing what you’re doing. People are willing to go to extreme lengths to win, and it’s all based on power. All of this has a common theme of power, man’s power. People want control and they’re willing to do almost anything to achieve that control. And it’s because people are abandoning this concept of individual freedom and embracing the concept of the government has control over everything.

It’s the opposite of what the United States is founded upon. And yet even in America, half of our population seems to be dedicated towards achieving a level of socialism where the government controls everything. If you want to look at a common theme, it is power and control.

Sam Rohrer:

And I think that takes us right to biblical. We’re going to talk more in the last segment, but from a biblical perspective, let’s look at that. How should a true Bible believing Christian think about elections, political transitions in light of what we know the Bible says will be increasing lawlessness with a world, world governments, world system running away from any resemblance of the fear of God? Because for a believer, we cannot take that piece out of this equation as we try to make sense of it, can we?

J.R. McGee:

No. And look at what Jesus told us himself. He said, “Fear not because I’ve overcome the world.” Jesus has shown us where this is going and through prophecy, he’s told us what the outcome of all this is going to be. And as Christians, we should have faith in him. When I know what the answer’s going to be and I know how it’s going to work out, I don’t need faith. I need faith for when I don’t understand how it’s going to work out and I don’t see how this is going to work. But in all this, I look at this and I say, Jesus has told us how this is going to play out. He’s told us who he is. We need to trust that. He’s overcome the world. And when he came the first time, he came as the prince of peace and as a lamb, a lamb to be slaughtered.

When he comes back the second time, Sam, he’s going to be coming back as a conquering king. He’s going to be on a horse with a sword and that’s somebody that to be feared. That is somebody with real power, not the power that man is trying to achieve here, but the power of absolute authority. And that’s what we need to be faithful to.

Sam Rohrer:

Absolutely. Ladies and gentlemen, stay with us because when we come back, we’re going to talk about developing alliances, wars, developing alliances and even greater uncertainty. The nations of the world are aligning. That fits together and we’ll augment this discussion by going in that direction in just a minute. Well, if you’re just joining us today, we’re now midway in the program and the theme today is simply this. This is the title for it so you know where we’re going. Elections, warnings and preparations. And then we’re going to conclude the next segment with biblical clarity in times of confusion because the warnings, all of which we started the program talking about many of the governments of the world, over 33 identified countries, including the EU, which then takes it way above that, have all issued warnings over the past days for people to prepare, be able to go three days or three months or whatever it may be on your own when no one’s going to come to your aid.

All right, there’s warnings of that type. Things are happening in Europe right now where they’re under a heavy cyber attack and someone, whoever’s behind it is attacking refrigeration systems and already thousands of tons of food have spoiled. All of this is going to have impacts. So preparation ties into that. So we started with that. What’s it create? Well, it creates uncertainty. And then we went to elections, the fact that elections are happening around the world, Brazil, Israel, United States here tomorrow. And great speculation as to what is happening and what will be the result and how will people respond? And right now there’s not good response in Israel. It’s going to unwind and wind for a long time and Brazil, highly disputed. Already the sides are drawn here in our nation. No matter who wins, the other side is going to say that they stole it.

Okay, that’s where we are, uncertainty. Now, J.R. McGee is my guest here today with me generally once a month on the first Monday of the month, and we talk about these things. And throughout today’s program, we’ve talked about the things I’ve just said. As political leaders and populations wrestle with internal division, nations around the world are simultaneously strengthening alliances. Alliances are changing, increasing their defense spending is escalating greatly. Critical supply chains are being threatened as nations prepare for conflict. I’m not making that up. We all hear it. We see it. NATO continues to adapting to new threats. China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea continue pursuing their strategic objectives. Israel remains at the center of regional tensions and many military analysts now openly discuss the possibility of multiple conflicts occurring simultaneously around the globe. And at the same time, these developments are not occurring in isolation.

Many of the nations we’ve discussed today are not only experiencing political transitions at home, but then you got to throw in the weather events like earthquakes and all of this is happening and all within the context of a changing global order, the push for global government. So JR, let’s look beyond elections and domestic politics at the broader aspect here. When we step back and view current events globally, as we were doing in the last segment particular, particularly from the continuing rise of China, the ambitions of Russia, the ongoing influence of Iran and instability in Europe and Middle East and growing military preparations around the world. Now this gets right into your ballywick and specifics. What do you see as the most significant geopolitical developments taking place right now as all these things are considered together?

J.R. McGee:

Clearly it’s the realignment of different nations and how they’re

Sam Rohrer:

Forming

J.R. McGee:

These alliances. For example, China is rising in power both economically, militarily, and technologically, and other countries are beginning to align with China. Russia is going to come out of this stronger than they went in. The Bible clearly tells us that. And the United States is stepping back away from its historical and traditional role as the guarantor of security, both in Europe and in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia just recently asked the United States to help

Sam Rohrer:

Them

J.R. McGee:

In their conflict against the Houthis and the United States told them no. That was a major, major issue that let

Sam Rohrer:

All

J.R. McGee:

The countries in the Middle East know that the United States might not be there to secure

Sam Rohrer:

Them

J.R. McGee:

Like they’ve been depending on. That threw a lot of these alliances into question. And then you look at what’s going on with the United States in terms of the EU. We’ve told the European Union that they’ve got to take on more of their own security needs. That’s throwing that alliance into question. Then you look at the economies and

Sam Rohrer:

How all

J.R. McGee:

Of these economic situations are changing. All of these things are in flux and what people could count on five years ago, they’re no longer able to count on. They’re not certain who they can depend on and who they can’t. That is exactly why this new Mecca alliance between the United States, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is becoming very, very significant and more countries are going to be joining that. All of these things are in flux, Sam, and it’s going to have some serious ramifications.

Sam Rohrer:

Okay. Now you said the United States in league with Pakistan. Is that what you mean?

J.R. McGee:

Well, the United States is going to be reacting to this Mecca alliance. And if I said that, I misspoke. It’s Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia and the Mecca Alliance. Syria’s looking at joining that and the United States is backing away from that. We’re actually decoupling from that, not joining it.

Sam Rohrer:

Okay. And I wanted to clarify that ladies and gentlemen, because the United States is not a part of that. And J.R. You just mentioned Syria because they’ve just announced that they want to get into that and join that because of being pushed by Turkey, which once increased power and influence in the Middle East, which takes me to this part. One of the recurring themes that we hear and what we’re talking about here is the formation of these new alliances and partnerships. For instance, there are treaty alignments between Iran and China, between China and Russia, between Iran and Russia, and now North Korea is in that mix. And they are clearly helping each other. Then you’ve got this Mecca agreement thing you’re talking about and Turkey wanting to do its thing. And as you’re talking about the United States really backing out because we can’t afford to be there anymore, really.

And all these nations are saying, “Hey, look, get out.” So when one looks at all of that, clearly a repositioning, a military, technological, regional alliance of a type that could only be imagined if one wouldn’t look through the pages of scripture, I want to go there. As you evaluate these developments, I’m going to say through both a national security and then the biblical prophetical lens, what emerging alliances or alignments should believers be paying attention to most as we go forward in these days and why?

J.R. McGee:

Well, the Bible tells us that Russia and Iran are going to form a key alliance with some other countries that are going to rise up against Israel. We’re seeing that happen. It also talks about a million man army from the East. I believe that that’s a Middle East, a far Eastern country such as China. And if we look at what China’s doing with Iran, they’re resupplying Iran with man pads. These are man portable surface to air missile systems like the FN16 and the QW-12. These are very capable shoulder fired missiles that’s going to complicate Israel and the United States mission if they go back in and re-attack Iran. China’s also supplying shore to ship missiles against some of the tankers. The C-802 is a very capable shore to ship missile, and they’re even supplying Iran with some of the new supersonic CM302 missiles, which is a newer, more capable missile to use against some of these tankers in the Persian Gulf.

All of these things are happening in real time and China is actually working with Iran to break the American embargoes and sanctions as is Russia. These things are in constant flux, Sam. Things that we could take for granted even 18 months ago, I don’t think we can take for granted anymore.

Sam Rohrer:

We don’t have much time left, but you and I have on this program, JR, as you said, for years, this program and then others where I do a biblical prophecy, these alignment of nations, this increased focus on Israel and Jerusalem. We’ve been saying this for years. In your perspective, as you look at it, just personally, to what extent are you moved by what would appear to be the convergence and the speed? I’ve got to put that way, the speed of what we see unfolding?

J.R. McGee:

It’s clear that Iran has a strategy of waiting out the United States. They’re delaying for time because they believe that if Trump loses the House and the Senate, That the new power that moves into Congress will decouple. They’ll tie his hands and force him out of this engagement with Iran and they will by default win. That’s what they’re counting on. And by all means, it looks like that that strategy has begun to pay off. Ironically, Iran only has to survive in order to win. They don’t have to win on the battlefield. They have to win in the minds of public opinion. And if we back away and decouple, that’s going to give Iran everything that they need to declare victory. And they will come out of this stronger than they went in. And that’s exactly what’s happening with Russia in the Ukraine situation. All Russia has to do is survive and declare victory and they will come out of this stronger than they went in.

Ironically, they’re both going to get what they want, not through power and not through battlefield initiatives, but through politics.

Sam Rohrer:

And ladies and gentlemen, all of this, it’s building, it’s building. But if we know God’s word, it’s building to a point where we know it’s going to end up. Stay with us. We’re going to anchor on God’s word on elections, warnings and preparations. Well, as we go into our final segment, thanks for being with us today. And again, my appreciation and my guest today, J.R. McGee, it’s always a privilege to be together with him. We generally do this the first Monday of the month. As we look at geopolitical, international events, and certainly today has been one of those. It’s a very big day, big week. And obviously here in America, as this program goes around the world, here in America, obviously we have elections tomorrow. They’re very important. They’re very important. And we’re going to pray at the end of this program for that because we ought to, and I hope that you are.

I mean, we’ve talked and we talk much on this program about biblical duties, stewardship that’s before us for how we vote and vote biblically. It’s very, very critical because that’s how God is going to determine our votes. And he will, because that’s a choice and all choices we’ll have to give an account towards the Lord. So it’s careful. We need to be observant of that. But throughout today’s program, that’s been a part of it. But we started by talking about warnings, which we’re seeing from governments around the world, unprecedented preparations that are being taken by governments and to some degree telling their people to plan to be on their own for three days to three months type of a thing. Contentious elections. We’ve talked about three, Brazil and Israel and the United States and wherever they’re very contentious. We all know that. Growing political division, very little unity in most nations, certainly here in our own nation.

Everybody’s been kind of primed to blame everything on somebody else. So we’re primed for a lot of things here. Military realignments, we just talked about that in the last segment. Military budgets exploding, nations realigning in a world that appears to be coming more uncertain by the day. Yet for the true believer, this is where we want to anchor here. For the true believer, most of you listening to me probably are God fearing and believers, but for us who understand who God is, uncertainty among the nations does not mean uncertainty in God’s plan to the contrary. While governments shift, alliances change, leaders come and go. Scripture reminds us that God remains sovereign over the affairs of men and the nations. So as we conclude today, let’s move beyond headlines and focus on God’s perspective. JR, answer this question. I’m just going to give you one and then we’re going to close in some prayer here, but let’s go here.

Scripture teaches both the importance of being watchful and prepared. At the same time, emphasizing faith, obedience and living in the fear of God. So in practical terms, while world governments are issuing warnings with very limited recommendations for preparation, God’s word issues clear warnings and many of them with very specific recommendations for preparation, not all on the physical, but compare contrast in this closing segment where you want to go about what the world says and its conclusion and what God’s word says and its conclusion.

J.R. McGee:

Sam, North Korea over the weekends apparently has stolen $6.3 billion in cyber currency from B Nance. That’s the largest theft in history. Yet ironically, it’s a dress rehearsal for what the plan is. They can collapse the entire world financial system now through computer attacks. And then right as we speak, while we’re talking on this show, there’s a cyber attack against the food network, the food distribution networks. In Europe, over the weekend they attacked the food storage networks on military bases across the United States. They’ve shown just how vulnerable our food distribution networks are. The world will tell you everything is fragile and that you need to be aware. I think all of these warnings are for what we’re seeing happening right now at this moment. Our electrical grid is just as fragile. Our telecommunications grid’s just as fragile. Our financial network is already under attack.

Food networks are already under attack. You and I have been telling people now for months that this is coming and that we should be getting ready for it. So the world’s message is, “Hey, this is here, this is bad, this is going to get worse.” What God’s telling us is this is a sign that he is in control, that God is who he says he is. And he tells us this is exactly what’s going to happen in the last days. And we see a large part of America now wants to abandon Israel. It tells us in the last days Israel will be on its own and it will have to defend itself by itself. And we’re now seeing that’s exactly what’s going to occur. It looks like this new Israeli government is going to be weaker and less threatening to Iran than the former Netanyahu government was going to be.

That’s going to encourage Iran and Russia to form this alliance and move against them. I think that’s setting Israel up for another October 7th type of attack. The world is moving in a way that destroys and tears down. God’s moving in a way that tells us, no, this is all setting up so that people will see only God is capable of defending and saving mankind and individuals. We need to be looking at exactly who God says he is, exactly what God says he was going to go do. And he is faithful. He’s faithful and just. He will not abandon us, but we have to put our faith in him. And that faith says, “I don’t know how it’s going to work. I don’t know why it’s going to work. I don’t know how this is going to unfold, but God says he would do it.

He will do it.” No man’s going to come to the Father but through Jesus. Jesus is who he said He was. I think the time is now. The message is clear. Our mission is absolute. We need to put our faith in him and move in a direction that tells our family, our friends and our community and our churches, now is the time to stand up. Now is the time to move. Now is the time to have faith, Sam.

Sam Rohrer:

And absolutely. And now’s the time for us to pray. If you don’t mind, I’d like to ask you to pray, JR, for these things. Certainly our elections coming tomorrow, but that God’s people would be… Well, anyways, go ahead and close the program in appropriate prayer.

J.R. McGee:

Here is the reorganized transcript with all the prayer attributed to J.R. McGee and Sam Rohrer’s interjections removed.

J.R. McGee:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You humbly. We come to You prayerfully. We come to You as our Father. We ask You to watch over our nation, to watch over our churches, watch over our communities, and especially our families.

These days are perilous days. These days are eventful days, Lord. We see how all of these things are happening. We see how evil is moving across the face of the land, but You are the One who allows Satan to do these things, and You do them for Your plan. You do them for Your benefit. And ultimately, You allow that to show us who You are.

Lord, we pray that You would use these elections to show America who the real authority is. We pray that You would use these elections to show the world who You are and how You work. We pray that these things work out in the best possible way, but help us to realize no matter how it comes out, You’re ultimately in control.

No matter how these things turn out, You’re the One who allows men to work. You set kings up, You bring kings down, You set governments up, You tear governments down. In all of that, You are the One who is in control.

Help us put our faith in You, not in government. Help us put our trust in You and not in man.

We thank You, Lord, for being a God who hears prayer. We thank You for being a God who listens to us, and we thank You for being a God who protects us.

And all these things we ask in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Sam Rohrer:

Amen and amen. Thank you, JR. Thank you ladies and gentlemen for joining us today.
